If you’re feeling intense pressure with increasing frequency, think on this…
You may be the very one the Lord has chosen to partner with to bring about breakthrough in your family or in your friend’s life!
Perhaps you’re thinking:
"Lord, why can't my life now be like what my life used to be like?"
“Lord, why can’t my life now be like what my life used to be like back when I first met You? Back when it was easy to feel your presence… when I could close my eyes and almost instantly see your face looking down at me, hear your voice, feel your touch. It was so easy to love You back then!”
Those were the days…
Yes. Those were the days.
Those were the days when He held you close – so close it almost hurt.
Those were the days when He comforted you with His hand, sanding off the rough places, sharpening you, gazing at you.
Those were the days when trust was growing… your trust in Him.. His trust in you.
Those were the days you wish would go on forever.
Those days maybe feel like they are gone.. because for now, perhaps they have. Perhaps it is a new day for you.
A day of war.
Perhaps the Lord has now cultivated such trust in you, by investing time in sharpening you, strengthening you by filling you… and now He has chosen to take you in to battle, right at His side, as trusted weapon of war with which to do damage to the Enemy’s Kingdom and bring deliverance to those around you who are still in prison.
20 “You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms; 21 With you I will break in pieces the horse and its rider; With you I will break in pieces the chariot and its rider; 22 With you also I will break in pieces man and woman; With you I will break in pieces old and young; With you I will break in pieces the young man and the maiden; 23 With you also I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; With you I will break in pieces the farmer and his yoke of oxen; And with you I will break in pieces governors and rulers. 24 “And I will repay Babylon And all the inhabitants of Chaldea For all the evil they have done in Zion in your sight,” says the Lord.
When it seems you’re seeing the Enemy’s face more often than you are seeing the Lord’s…
When you’re feeling the weight of battle over and over…
When you’re experiencing the clash again and again remember…
It could be that the Lord is sharing with you His active intercession for someone else!
